Caregivers: the True Heroes

This year’s Caregiver Conference: “Caregivers: The True Heroes” was a great success. The total number of people who attended was approximately 250, this included attendees and vendors. John Curly, former host of Evening Magazine, was our key note, he did an exceptional job of starting our morning with humor, motivation and the thought of remembering that every person comes into our lives for a reason; so cherish all the relationship you make and nurture them as needed. There were also 12 other great speakers that gave us information on how to navigate the healthcare system, maintaining your balance to stay strong, legal documents, activities, hospice and nutrition just to name a few. This year we moved back to Christ the King Church to better accommodate all the attendees and vendors. Lunch was catered by Double Barrel BBQ and was very tasty.
Thank you to all who attended, had vendor booths and helped from start to finish in planning this great event.
