Educational Opportunity
Barbara Kaplan, local educator and interfaith chaplain, works with the feelings we all have around death and dying. She has figured out a lot of things about the dying process to make dying easier for both the person dying and loved ones. She can support you in whatever you are going through, either in private appointments and/or come to this class: HOW DO PEOPLE DIE? a stimulating, interactive, experiential powerpoint presentation. It covers the ways we deny death, how dying is set in motion, what happens when we fall asleep, and what is happening on the inside in preparation for the transition … all to give a different perspective on death and dying, one that is not so scary.
Classes will be held at:
Quality Inn Baron Suites in Bellingham
August 21, 6-9 p.m. or August 30, 9 a.m.-12 noon
