Caregiver Conference Update
"Discovering the Hidden Treasures in the Depths of Caregiving" is the theme of the 2007 ESP Caregiver Conference that will be held at Christ the King Conference Center, on Friday, March 16, 2007. The Conference Committee is very excited to have keynote speaker Shelly Zylstra of Northwest Regional Council, as well as a huge variety of breakout sessions lined up. We are expecting 450 caregivers to attend- be sure you are included!
Taking Care of You: Powerful Tools for Caregiving
Are you caring for a loved one? Don’t miss this important series of classes where
you will develop a wealth of self-care tools, including:
- Reducing personal stress
- Changing negative self-talk
- Communicating your needs to family, doctors, and others
- Dealing with challenging situations
- Making tough caregiving decisions
- Solving problems and setting goals
Whatcom County - February 26 through April 2, 2007 (Feb. 26, Mar. 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2). Every Monday from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm (with a half hour break - bring a brown bag lunch).
