Elder Service Providers May Lunch Meeting

Our next ESP luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 28th from 11:30-1 at Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 4276 Meridian, Bellingham. Interfaith Coalition is seeking a part-time program and administrative assistant for the Friendly Visitors program, a senior outreach program which matches compassionate volunteers with isolated seniors. Flexible 7-10 hours per week. 2008 Spring Workshop, Christ the King Center, Friday, May 16, 2008, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Teepa Snow is presenting "Caregiving Gems" to help caregivers understand the progressive losses of a person with dementia. Pre-registration is required. Memory Awareness Screenings - a free service but donations are gratefully accepted. Third Tuesday of the month in 2008. Make an appointment by calling 360-671-3316, or drop in between 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Pkwy, Bellingham. The screening is non-invasive, non-threatening and takes only a few minutes. Only you receive the results.
