Adult Day Health Center Pie Social
To celebrate National Adult Day Services Week, St. Joseph Hospital Adult Day Health Center will be hosting a Community Celebration and Pie Social on Thursday, September 24th from 2:00-4:00pm.

Alzheimer Society Conference – 2009 “Someone Who Cares” Award
WHO: Your nominee for this award can be any person who has taken special care of a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or someone you have seen using innovative techniques in dementia care.
HOW: To nominate Someone Who Cares, obtain a form from the Alzheimer Society by calling 360-671-3316 or check the web site: www.alzsociety.org.
WHEN: Alzheimer Society must receive your nomination no later than October 9, 2009 to be eligible.
Alzheimer Society of Washington
The Alzheimer Society is in need of a couple of gently used computers for their offices and support staff. If you or your organization is in the process of upgrading your systems and find yourself with an extra computer or printer that is still in good working order please contact the Alzheimer Society office at 671-3316. Remember that your donations are tax deductible.
Memory Awareness Screenings - a free service but donations are gratefully accepted. These are held the third Tuesday of the month, through November. Make an appointment by calling 360-671-3316, or drop in between 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Pkwy, Bellingham. The screening is non-invasive, non-threatening and takes only a few minutes.
Annual Caregiver Conference
