The Pursuing Perfection Program
The Pursuing Perfection Program is sponsoring a 2-day Chronic Conditions and Self Management Workshop on September 15 &16 at St Lukes Health Education Center. The presenters will be Dr. Malcolm Battersby and Mignon Markwick of Flinders University at Adelaide, Australia.
The workshop provides structured tools, assessments, and actual practice in the Flinders Model methods. Developing effective partnerships with patients to manage chronic conditions is important. If you are a busy healthcare worker who seeks methods for engaging patients in self management of their chronic conditions, this workshop is for you.
Space is limited to 20 participants.

Whatcom Hospice
Whatcom Hospice seeks top-quality, caring volunteers to visit Hospice patients in their homes as part of the Hospice Care Team.
If you are interested in volunteering, you are welcome to attend an informational meeting.

Did you know that there are now CE modules on Oral Hygiene for caregivers?
This is a 6 hr course with an excellent curriculum, taught by Jenny Shuler, director of the BTC Dental Clinic. The next courses are on Sept 17th at Bellingham Technical College and October 1st at Skagit Valley Hospital. For registration info call (360) 752-8350.
