Board works to make Elder Service Providers more effective
ESP has a very committed and energetic Board of Directors, 15 people who have been meeting every 6 weeks to manage the business of this growing organization and to plan activities for the membership. During April the
Board spent an extra two evenings together, facilitated by Holly O'Neil of Crossroads Consulting. The Board developed a clearer Vision and Mission for the organization, a new committee structure, and ideas for our
Caregiver Conference, which has almost outgrown available facilities in Whatcom County!
ESP Mission Statement
E.S.P. is a group dedicated to facilitating opportunities for professionals and all caregivers to connect, learn, and feel supported in the important work that they do for seniors in our region.

Friendly Visitors, a program of Interfaith Coalition, matches compassionate volunteers with older members of our community whose health and well-being may improve with meaningful social connection. Trained volunteers make weekly social visits, with a telephone call between visits, to the senior with whom they've been carefully matched.
