ESP October 2005 NewsletterFrom the PresidentAt our last quarterly meeting the issue of disaster planning was addressed. It was voted by our membership that the development of a comprehensive disaster plan for all elder care providers in this area is a priority for all of us. Inquiries are being made of appropriate governmental agencies to determine what resources they will be able to provide and efforts are underway to bring all elder care providers together to begin the monumental task of developing a plan that will pool resources. Alone we are limited, but together we can create a strong support system in time of trouble. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Anita Tallman, ESP Treasurer and administrator of Christian Health Care Center, for spearheading this effort.
